I wanted to like this book more then I did. It had potential in the beginning but it just went downhill the further along it went on. The fact that Hayden and Nick were still battling over something when it happened in the 7th grade and they were juniors in high school became highly annoying to me. And the push/pull, back and forth of their "relationship" was just too much. Neither could say what they were thinking or feeling and it frustrated me. The first couple of times it was cute, but then I just wanted to smack them both and I found myself rolling my eyes more then once. And the mention of the tripping over the family dog the million times completely put me over the edge. Sadly I was hoping for better.
