This book was exactly what I needed. The feel good, light-heartedness with the tiniest bit of angst was perfect. I lived both Josh and Emma and how they interacted with each other. They were crazy about one another but one refused to see it leading to both thinking they wanted other people. And with the help of a website that hadn't even been invented they were able to find out who those other people were and if it was really want they wanted. I really enjoyed and appreciated the concept of this book. The pop culture references from 1996 and today made me both smile and nostalgic at the same time. The Future of Us is definitely a entertaining read and one that should be enjoyed by many.
